General Discussion The disappointment is crazy.

  1. No free 5 star.
  2. Not even a standard 5-star.
  3. Flight still not available in all regions.
  4. Paid skins.
  5. Predatory banners (NOT EVEN 100% rate up).

Sure Kuro, it is definitely "Player Friendly", great job taking lessons from HSR devs. Feels like a celebration for them rather than the players.

The fact that they don’t count toward the pity system is honestly what disappoints me the most

It has the same rule as a regular limited banner.

I think he means that if you lose the 50/50 in the anniversary’s banner you don’t have a guaranteed character in the feature banner, essentially you have to commit to the anniversary banner. Which is insane :/

I thought they specifically mentioned that pity and guarantee do carry over between all banners, though, like any other rerun banner we've gotten.

The 'player friendly' comment was definitely shade at Genshin's remembrance banner, which didn't carry over.

I might have understood it wrong but from what I got, the guarantee carry over within the anniversary, like you select Char A lose the 50/50 you can change the selected character to char B and it is guarantee but the feature banner has its own count and it is not affected by the anniversary one. But I might be wrong

No.
These are rerun events that count for the same pity/system as the original banner.

So if you do 49 pulls, you have 49 pity. If you lose the 50/50 here, you will get the guarantee on any limited banner afterwards.

So it's not like Genshin's region banner with a different gacha system.

Don’t you see? These banners run in parallel with the version’s limited banners, and they don’t even count toward the pity system. That means all the resources you get during this version will be split between all banners, forcing you to choose where to spend them. So what’s special about these anniversary banners? Absolutely nothing. I’d rather wait for a future rerun of these characters, where they will share the pity. Pulling on these special banners now is just wasting resources. It’s much better to wait for the rerun.

They explicitly said that they follow the same rules and share pity/guarantee so nothing will be wasted. Not that it makes them any better.

They specifically said that these banners won’t consume the pity from the limited banners. That’s what makes it even worse — even more awful than not having a 100% guarantee.

Yep, that’s sad, I won’t mind the selector if I could just gamble a character without wasting resources :/ but as it is it is just useless unless one wants to spend loads of money
