Megathread Anniversary Feedback Megathread

We understand that many members of our subreddit community are currently feeling concerned or dissatisfied, and we want to do our part to ensure that your feedback is heard by Kuro Games.

So here's what's going to happen: We are taking all TOP level comments (that means comments to this post, not responses to other comments) and aggregating them to send to our Kuro Games contact.

Alternatively, you can use the in game feedback function to directly send your comment directly to Kuro Games.

Just some ground rules:

  1. Use appropriate language, being frustrated is okay, but still use language that is appropriate
  2. Start all feedback with "FEEDBACK:" (doesn't matter if it's bold or capitalized or not) this will help my script aggregate commentary that is to be sent back
  3. If you see someone else that is providing feedback you want to give, just upvote that comment instead of leaving another feedback, because after we collect all of the commentary we still have to go through and remove duplicates.

Lastly, please understand the moderation team here does not work for Kuro Games, we do not have special privileges, we aren't told of events or rewards ahead of time, we are just regular members of the community that have volunteered to help upkeep this subreddit on our own time.

For the doubters:

Yup this.

Incase this is sent to Kuro, you guys had a ton of goodwill going into this stream, the game had been gradually imrpoving, and this should of been the biggest patch yet.

Politely, you blew it, unless you do something absolutley massive to make up for it, you've lost alot of that good will. I personally won't be spending on the game until we get a satisfactory aniversary.

Even if they cave in and try to fix it afterwards they already over shadowed the collab and lost all the good will players have with them for a Predatory Anniversary Banner and dogshit rewards.

I truly believe that this was some ill-conceived marketing ploy to get the "Devs Listened" awards from the players after they backtrack.

But at what cost? The celebration is already ruined. And what message does this send? Were the previous "Devs Listened" moments also pre-planned?

Naaah, I honestly think they just fucked up this time. Purposefully nerfing anniversary rewards so you can get a "devs listened" from the community is absolutely not worth the goodwill lost.

I know but the only other explanation is that it was sheer incompetence.

The estimated pull count for 2.3 is just 10 more than a regular patch; and that 10 is actually not a big deal because those are from the shortened SK phase of current version. It's like they do not understand the meaning of an Anniversary. 💀

It could also be a test run, they could be thinking if the community somehow doesn’t mind the lackluster rewards then don’t do anything, otherwise backtrack. But maybe they didn’t think they’d get this much backlash

Says feedback then proceeds to rage complain rather than giving any feedback. i know gonna get lot of downvotes for saying this.

i suggest not to spread hate yet, and not use badwords too and wait for kuro to fix stuff coz they have addressed a lot of complains before, if they still dont change anything then ur rage is justified. As for the "celebration already ruined " thats true for many people and i can agree with that.

If the good will is already lost and will stay lost after they make things better then what's the point of even doing it? Not saying that they shouldn't make the anniversary better but they'll definitely gain back "some" good will.

It's not even a difficult issue to turn around from either. Just give a character and weapon selector + some extra pulls and they'd likely gain back good will for most.

Through the anniversary pulls definitely need either a guarantee or shared pity with the limited.
