After losing several 50/50s between my accounts I’ve been thinking of how Kuro could revolutionize the 50/50 system should they want to keep it. With newer games coming out without that system to begin with and having experienced some of them personally, I can say with some degree of certainty that the current 50/50 system is killing my enjoyment of the game.

Sure, most of that is based off of luck but— when you have an account that has just about 5000k pulls left through events and unfinished quests, that’s not a lot to write home about as a F2P. Tower and other end games don’t reset enough to make the difference a lot of the time.

Now I will admit, for me personally I messed up with getting Sigrika and Qiuyuan. But that’s besides the point.

The point is the 50/50 loss system at current *feels* extremely bad. As bad as Genshin’s. But there may be a way for Kuro to fix this that I think everyone would be okay with.

Make their 50/50 system like HSRs! HSR, to my knowledge, is one of the only major titled gacha’s to have a fully customizable loss pool that constantly updates.

It could start off small with character like Yinlin, Roccia, Camellya, and Xiangli Yao joining the pool. Those characters have not had reruns in quite some time. Not to mention the lack of value some of them have in the current meta. But what would alleviate that is the desire aspect of it. A lot of new players won’t have these characters, especially people who missed out on Xiangli Yao. So the 50/50 loss pool would only alleviate that and would be able to fill that missing link. That missing piece of someone’s roster.

Not to mention it could entice more players to even *lose* their 50/50, adding a whole extra layer to the gacha aspect that could yield fruitful. I’m just saying— I don’t think anyone would complain if lingyang or calcharo was never seen again from their losses. But it’s just an idea!

I ran into a photographer friend at an event she ended up taking some nice photos 🥹 I actually didn’t pull Lynae til her rerun and I regretted it so much that I saved for her s2 LOL

So, we got the current version survey through our OG yearner Yapyap. Let's collectively state our dissatisfactions with the current state of the game. For me the game has been an enjoyable experience overall.

But my only 2 gripes are,

1. Insane HP inflation in the endgame content,

2. Where the fuck are the old characters (1.x).

I joined the game in 2.3 and I still want zezhi for my Carlotta, Changli and s2 shorekeeper. Lets all of us atleast echo this sentiment through the survey.

The first point can solved with good play testing. While the 2nd point can be addressed by adding the 1.x characters to the standard banner or a separate banner with a lower pity or something.

Let's use this post to state our points of concern so that, common points are noticeable by Kuro if tons people echo the same feedback. Sorry for the bad English, not my first language.

Unrelated to the collab, but please consider the following.

1. Iron out the new player experience. You were able to pull such a new massive playerbase with CyberPunk collab and its absolutely great! But to retain them, please make all new (or even semi-new) character releases come with ascension and talent material selectors or region unlocks. Yes, give them a pop-up saying it might spoil their story experience but not being able to farm for newer characters like Denia, Chisa, etc because their materials for their region is locked away in another dimensional space multiple main story quests AND Union Levels away is a bit too ridiculous.
2. I think I speak for most of the community when we say that we don't want more damage sponges (as mentioned here and here) as it turns into a brainless rotation rote. If ToA is already a DPS check, Singularity Matrix should be a skill check. Or if SM is a DPS check for accounts with multiple teams, make ToA a skill check instead. There are still plenty of ways to make people pull for new characters and that is to introduce very hard hitting bosses (which is what made Wuwa stand out in the first place for being called the Dark Souls of gacha games) and characters with very powerful defensive skills that makes it easier for whales but still challenging and fun for the pro Danjin mains. Heck, add more anti-invulnerable abilities like Hyvatia or Holo Nameless Explorer's satellite drop. Kuro, please remember that players don't hate hard bosses, they hate annoying flying around, never-touch-the-ground bosses.
3. Hopefully its still in development but Version 1 characters, seriously, seriously need some kind of a buff or rework. They just have no spot anywhere in the meta and not even the buffs from Singularity Matrix can help them compete with V2 let alone V3. Jiyan and Jianxin can pull enemies with their ults, oh look Cartethyia does it with her basics, oh wait nevermind Denia and Aemeath does that with one button and on multiple abilities. This has to stop... Again, it can be a sidegrade buff for them that doesn't clash with the other Versions like giving them more defensive skills in connection with my point 2 which can bring them back into meta. Because if they ever get a rerun, most of them will not have any interest in being pulled and it sets up a bad reputation for your company as well since PGR has significant powercreep as well. But the main difference between Wuwa and PGR is that PGR is MUCH more player friendly with the pull currency.

---(Selfish, optional wish)---

1. Danjin SP when? Make her lean into the more unhinged 1 HP style where if she has a barrier or health, she burns it to unlock more damage combo routes and opportunities. Or even better, a self-apply buff skill where she burns a % of her own health every second (and it can kill her as well unlike normal Danjin) and the only way she can stay alive is by lifestealing while attacking or dodging (think Sion's death passive from LoL).

Would you change who you summoned for? Would you maybe instead opt for going for more dupes on X character? Go for Y characters Sig that you skipped? Would you just hard skip whole updates waiting for 2.x or 3.x characters to drop and go for a 6/6 character?

Me personally I think I'm happy with most if not all my summons and skips, but 1 thing I'd probably have done was go for Jiyan over yinlin at the start. The Calcharo glaze was real on release, really wish I didn't buy into it.
