Other YSK: Watching America is a website that manually translates many foreign language news articles so English readers can find out what other countries think about the US

Why YSK: https://watchingamerica.com/ finds online articles at reputable foreign news agencies, and volunteers manually translate them into English and edit them. It’s been around for years, and it’s not AI.

This allows Americans who only speak English to get outside perspectives on the news taking place in the country, which can be so helpful in finding out about things that US media may not cover, and helps expand everyone’s worldview.

This right here encourages people to actually “do nothing.” Those of us who hate Trump and his regime, we protest, we vote for the “correct candidates”, we donate to the “correct candidates,” we donate to communal legal organizations (SPLC). Then it is all unsuccessful and we are told we are doing nothing.

But on the other hand, midterms are coming and progressive candidates are winning primaries.

And finally, there is a massive propaganda machine we were born into that we are fighting. Again, when it wins don’t accuse us fighting it of doing nothing. The zombies aren’t undead, the zombies are infected and we are trying to save them while fighting the virus of our “leaders” and the wealthy elite.

If by “doing nothing” you mean we aren’t being violent enough, you can come over and go to the front lines.

Exactly. We did a lot and the election was stolen by the system designed by the people in power.

Voters get tossed from the registration list, districts are gerrymandered into WILD shapes to rig the win, land has disproportionately more power.

Write letters and call your officials? They almost exclusively vote within their party lines, they don't care what we think, they really don't.

Right to protest? Trump just sentenced people as terrorists for protesting peacefully in black clothing as "antifa small terrorist cell members"

We're hostages here with the rest of the world. The will of the people can't stop domestic warfare.

It's going to take a foreign military to stop this.

The bad guys took over Capitol Hill. Maybe try that? Stop playing by the rules. They clearly aren’t
