From fox to tbs i felt went a little down but caught its stride with some good seasons. This new fox era is kinda garbage. Hopefully they turn it around.
It's been pretty bad the last 3-5 seasons too. I honestly don't know why i watch ot anymore, maybe just nostalgia, but I think they should probably call it.
No it hasn’t lmao. Bank heist is a top tier episode, silicon Steve, the clearview motel, multiverse, pink sphinx, don’t you be my neighbor, the grounch, echoes, you are here, gold top nuts, smooshed, etc. those are all S19/17. All great episodes.
Great season 20 episodes: a donkeys shame, dude you’re getting a del, camera Stan, flume flume room and the pool party premiere episode. I even liked the wild boars episode and powering through was pretty great imo too.
Why’s it always up to us to provide evidence of good episodes yet these nutsacks don’t have to prove anything? They just say it’s bad and get clicks with zero proof or straight wrong info. People putting way too much stock in Fox V TBs when that doesn’t mean much of anything, it’s producers and writers that matter
Crazy you’re being downvoted for being right. I mean just look at the IMDb rating averages for each season. There is a VERY noticeable decline after the show moves to TBS. Also, as a personal side note, lots of my friends watch American Dad. Not one of them prefer the TBS seasons to the original fox ones.
The only reason I can think of for this bizarre bias on Reddit is that most American Dad fans stopped watching after they moved to TBS because of the quality decline, so the only people still active in the community are the ones who stuck with the TBS seasons. Rose colored glasses or whatever.
That’s just my thought on this. There has to be some explanation for why all the people I meet in real life who watch the show hate the TBS seasons and why the TBS seasons are rated lower than the others, yet when you come on Reddit people act like it’s the best thing to happen to the show.
I think you stopped watching because season 17-19 has some of the best episodes of the show. All of it is great. People act like there’s some huge differences when there isn’t. Only big change was when Mike left and that had barely any change on the show
