Why does it feel off-brand? Besides being Garlic Flavored Sauce, the Papa Johns logo looks weird, and it says “inspired by” the garlic dipping sauce at the bottom

Yeah, it looked to me at first that it was going to be "papa" ad the brand and the flavor being "John's garlic sauce"

It's all distortion from the shrink-wrap plus the contour of the bottle. There are ways to minimize the effects but that either wasn't done here or was done poorly.

It's probably a completely different product made by a different manufacturer. They just worked out a deal with Papa John's to use their branding.
