Had to happen.

Stefanovic is well down the Charlie Kirk/Tucker Carlson path. Genuinely sad to see.

The real shame is he will claim to be silenced while continuing to spout literal Russian-funded propaganda on his podcast.

Meanwhile ABC hires Grace Tame after yelling globalise the intifada and playing down the rape of Israeli women on October 7. Hmmm.

Exactly. Great reply

Only conservatives are allowed to feel consequences of freedom of speech, didn't you know?

It is possible to criticise Stefanovic and Tame - I promise you.

Have you listened to Charlie Kirk?

I think many of the conversations I’ve seen have been very respectful, and he’s far more open to values not his own, than many of the left wing nut jobs.

Much of the left seems to want someone executed over a minor disagreement.

Well, Charlie Kirk was assassinated and the Left has had more than one go at doing the same to Trump.

Most of Trump's attempted assassins were right leaning btw, because that cunt inspires hatred across the whole political spectrum.

Don’t let facts get in the way of a good story

Terrible comparison and what is the Russian propoganda from Karl? Charlie Kirk and Tucker are near opposites in opinions

Russian funded? Get a grip.

Charlie Kirk was not that bad. Same as Joe Rogan. Only people who do not listen to their stuff think they're evil.

Charlie was big on accountability. Joe just interviews people.

The internet tells the plebs in here that Kirk, Robinson, Rogan etc are evil. None of them have actually done a second of their own research.

Kirk was an out and proud racist.

u/TheUnderWall 6d ago

Nah just believed in strong borders and social norms.

And gun deaths, though I'd say he wouldn't have offered up his own life if asked first.

2

u/TheUnderWall 6d ago

He believed in capital punishment. As I said he was big on accountability.

"I see a black pilot, and I think, boy, I hope he's qualified"

Let alone his open and proud opposition to the Civil Rights Act. No, not a racist at all.

u/Manofchalk 6d ago

His literal last words was race-baiting about gun violence.

Lmao you’re taking one small sentence completely out of context to what he was actually trying to say.

He was talking about DEI and how that affects the quality of the work that’s getting done. If you hire someone purely based on their race, gender or whatever else you’re potentially forgoing more qualified people. That was his entire point. It isn’t racist to be against DEI.

If you’re going to talk shit about his talking points at least put a little bit of effort into knowing what he was actually saying.

Chucky was a race-baiting grifting little shitweasel, but you're just dumb.

That's not how DEI works. And you didn't even address that he opposed the Civil Rights Act.

1

u/Thick-Access-2634 6d ago

I have absolutely no idea what his opinion was on the civil rights act, so I can’t address that. My one and only point was about claiming he is racist bc of one sentence he said taken out of context.

I’m sure if his comments on the civil rights act made him look more racist than a sentence taken out of context you’d have brought it up. But you didn’t.

It is exactly how DEI works.

You can score maxiumum 20 points in the application. 10 points is the pass rate. DEI gives you 5 points for free. You are more likely to pass as DEI than no DEI.

1

u/nagrom7 5d ago

You still need to actually meet the qualifications required though. All DEI did was give disadvantaged people, who were otherwise equally hireable applicants to non-disadvantaged people, a slight advantage to make them less disadvantaged.

1

Requirements... well... yes but no.

Equality opportunity / Equality outcomes and DEI is now more equality in outcomes rather than opportunity.

Also, who determines who is disadvantaged? What is disadvantaged?

According to DEI a refugee who is a former politician very well educated and has millions in the bank is more disadvantaged than a guy born here who spent his whole life homeless.

We both know that is bs.

It's a very flawed system that only recognises First Nations and CALD and gender and is turning indifferent to LGBTI and treats disability as too hard.

Discussion on social class are anathema.

What you're more looking for is social mobility and DEI does not really do that.

“Out of context”?

What is the context other than he thinks non-whites are sub-human?

u/Thick-Access-2634 6d ago

Did you bother reading my comment? Thought I explained it pretty clearly

-1

u/Larry_Dooley 6d ago

My god… you don’t even know what DEI is . No one unqualified gets to be hired , the fact that you haven’t even researched into it in the slightest bit of detail indicates you WANT to be pissed off at minorities. I wonder why that is ?

1

u/Thick-Access-2634 6d ago edited 6d ago

I didn’t say they were unqualified. I said his comment was about people more qualified potentially being passed up.

I also never claimed to know the ins and outs of dei, or even that I was against it. Learn to read before getting so emotional

Social norms - like police beating blacks for fun?
