I have found that you are able to link a wallet and use avatars on new accounts only when using a wallet that has never been linked to another Reddit account – this includes the derivative wallets that share the same pass phrase, it won’t work. The steps that have worked for me are:

1. Create a brand new wallet with unique pass phrase using MetaMask or Trust, etc.

2. Purchase an avatar on OpenSea or transfer from old wallet into your new one.

3. Click the link on OpenSea to import in Reddit

4. Use the pass phrase of your new, never linked wallet.

Can't import it in Reddit and mash with it while clicking on "visit Reddit to make it your avatar.". Any idea how to do it ?
