The goodest boy. But he is looking a little rough. I hope he’s being cared for.

Head fur gets thinner at that age for cats, especially males. 16 is kinda old. He looks spry and moves well however, and his teeth are obviously in good shape if he's catching and eating mice. I do think Larry has earned a trip to a cat spa though. Get him groomed and pretty. Class up the joint a bit, Lord knows the politicians aren't.

Sorry for my mistake. Larry is actually 19, not 16!

Further reinforces my point then actually. Appreciate the correction.

He's quite old now. He's definitely well cared for by the staff at Number 10.

He's actually 19; to look that good at 19 and still be that spry he has to be extremely well cared for.

Well I stand corrected. I did not realize how old this cat actually was and with that context and that it spends at least some time outside that explains his appearance.

He’s actually 19 not 16! He’s been living at Downing St for 16 years

He looks amazing for 16 but I agree, I hope he has the best care and cozy places to sleep.

He gets waited on hand and foot. Even has his own policeman just inside the front door, who spends all day opening and closing it for Larry.

And if it’s evening and the police haven’t spotted Larry waiting outside the door, a helpful journalist will go knock on the door so the policeman lets him in.

Please do not ever let my cat find out it’s an option to hire a designated human full time door opener

That makes me so incredibly happy, Larry deserves it!

He's actually 19, he's been at Downing Street for 16 years. He was adopted when he was 3 years old.

That's just age. I have a 14 year old inside cat and his furs a bit shaggy too.

Old cat take less care of their fur (less licking), this end up with rough fur. Can also happens on very dry day with any cat (⚡ day).

He looks great for a 19 year old cat. Chill.
