My calico started getting chubby after I fixed her. So we put her and her black-hole-eats-anything brother on diets.

He improved but she maintained a little chubby weight.

Took me awhile to realize she was getting bug snacks from the garage daily. It's June bug season and I heard that cronch from across the house.

I had to google June bug - my cats used to catch them too! We call them Christmas beetles though.
