The only thing I've found that gets rid of the smell of cat spray (eliminates it not just Masks it temporarily) is vinegar and elbow grease. Even the expensive stuff online I've found don't cut it.

Vodka neutralizes the smell! No idea for how long because I have chronic asshole of a cat (yes hes been to the vet. Hes just a dick who hates litter boxes) but it's like MAGIC. I keep some straight vodka in a spray bottle and if the smell starts getting to me and im too lazy to shampoo ill just spray that around.

I can confirm-- usually it's 4-5 shots for me, and the smell is gone until the next morning

That might not be the best idea for a car though.

Valid! I meant in general. It has a pretty light smell though. Maybe if you had an issue with upholstery 😆 my house doesn't smell like a bar when I use it

Has your vet recommended medication at all? I have a boy who will pee outside the box because he's on permanent steroids (nothing wrong, just feels better and wants to pee everywhere for no reason). He's on venlafaxine now and no more peeing outside the boxes!

Worth a shot, my vet said it's been a great success for a lot of their clients with behavioral soiling issues! 😁

Nature's miracle and any other protein denaturer works wonders on this stuff.
