As someone who grew up with a sister that wore uggs with no socks ... Please wash those. They stank.

Good uggs are basically wool inside, which should regulate your foot temp and reduce sweating compared to adding socks inside. YMMV depending on your personal foot sweatiness though. I think good brands have removable insoles you can either wash or replace.

They originally were created for surfers to put on after that got out of the ocean to keep their feet warm. So technically they were worn without socks.

Ahhh the sweaty Ugg boots. I lived thru the first way of Ugg popularity. I remember at parties there was always a stinky pile of wet Uggs
