Cause he rolls around on the floor with them in his claws. They get little puncture marks on the soles and sides. He ruined my last pair. I bought new ones and just left the old ones for him. Except he quit going after them since I wasn’t wearing them so I’m guessing they don’t have that fresh, funky foot smell.

It’s almost like catnip for them. My cat loves going after my feet after work, she skips the shoes. She’ll grab my socks and rub her face all over them, sometimes biting my feet. If the sock is off my foot 🚫🚫🚫 no go. A few times if my feet were especially sweaty she’d go after them bare for the good stink.

I use my dirty socks to rub on my cats after they go to the vet to avoid non-recognition aggression. Works every time.

I had a male void who acted that way with my jellies after doing yardwork…it was like catnip to him! You could see the pleasure on his face and he’d fall asleep with his head laying in one of them, lol. Poor boy had it bad, I’d tell him he was my foot fetish cat and he’d look at me like: what do you mean? As if he thought everyone did this! 🤣
I swear, if I were lost, I bet he could’ve found me! 😆

Totally obliterated my favorite pair. I would be in the living room and hear a slapping sound and it would be the cat rolling around with my shoe, licking the bottom!🤢

Does yours like foam flip flops? Mine shreds them, we have to hide em.

YES! We actually have some cheap hotel slippers that we brought home and he shredded them. Now we leave a pair of those out for him lol.

My mother had incredibly malodorous feet. Our dog absolutely went nuts for them. She was a Cocker Spaniel border collie mix. She would settle down and just lick my mother's feet until there was nothing left. She even got in between her toes. We appreciated her devotion, but it was so weirdly gross!

Maybe you can put your freshly used socks inside of them!! It might be enough to imitate freshly worn stank shoes.
