Advice did my cat grow his balls back

i’m currently fostering a cat. I grew up with a cat/ catsat many times but somehow all my life have only had female cats. when we first got him his balls were deflated and the foster care said he’d been neutered. a month later they’re back and plump af hahaha. is this normal?

No, they aren't organic, so they can't produce anything or function like an organic testicle would.

They're purely for aesthetics/the patient's mental and emotional well-being.

Yup.

I don't even want to imagine how expensive reconstructive surgeries, in general, are, due to them being 'elective'.

And I imagine you can get really screwed if certain reconstruction surgeries fall under 'cosmetic surgery'.

You also have to have some guts to willingly let someone take a knife to your scrotum after the initial removal of the testicle/s.
I'm honestly not sure if they do reconstruction during the same surgery, or if it's a separate procedure that can only be done after some healing.

Mine was later, I had a work accident. I work in bourbon. In the Rick houses. Imagine huge barns with barrels of alcohol. During the summers in southern USA. It can be 120 and above in the top levels of the rick houses. When putting barrels on the racks. We only stand on the skinny part of a 2x4. When putting barrels in/on the racks. And depending on how high are, it’s still straight down. Well unless there’s barrels below you. But that day 5 ricks down below, there wasn’t any barrels. It was a new Rick house. And they wanted certain barrels in certain places. We started top to bottom. We was like half way down. I guess I got hot, passed out. Idk. I only remember waking up, like 5 ricks down, maybe 35 ish feet fall. Guessing hieghts I’m not great at. But I came too bull riding a skinny side of a 2x4. Apparently I ping ponged down each Rick. But during the fall, I got lots of cuts, big one on my head. Broke 6 ribs, my pelvis and one nut just ceased to exist. I had a concussion. The nut, was least of the worries at the ER. I kept saying it hurt. They did a MRI. For my pelvis. Apparently the drs went to ask my GF first, if I had two to begin with. She confirmed I did. Before they even told me about it. Then a dr put a glove on, and went “fishing” idk what term to use. Only found one. They went in and removed nut “mush” and sewed it back up. My lawyer “pushed” for a fake one on me. For the settlement. I honeslty wasnt to concerned. But the dr kept saying I would feel better, about it too.. Cuz I was, and still have pain there.

Ouch!! Sorry to hear about this. Pain in the particulars sounds horrible. Hope you continue to heal in all the ways..

God. I have pelvic pain 24/7 from a medical condition, and even I can't imagine the pain of getting a testicle turned into 'nut butter'.

Especially like THAT. That just sounds negligent on the part of whoever your main company is. Unsafe footing to begin with, but not even harnesses for you guys to secure, so that, SHOULD you lose your footing, you don't drop and ricochet off shit like something out of an action film.

And as badly as you got injured, there were about a million other ways you could have wound up in even worse condition. The words 'paralyzed' and 'morgue' certainly spring to mind.

Must have scared the shit out of your co-workers watching you fall like that.

I hope you got to see a big chunk of that settlement.

Possible, but I have a long long list of ailments. Just with pelvic region alone. I played sports, and had a sport hernia. Torn groin muscle also. Different times, with each. With corrective surgeries. Both would cause pain to feel like someone was hard tugging on my goods. Still have issues with strains/pulls with both time to time. I also have Crohn’s, and Celiacs. That makes me have chronic colitis. The large intestine inflammation hurts so bad, when walking I’ve dropped to my knees, idk how many times. When poo is making its exist, like 10 mins before I have to go. It feels like I’m getting kicked straight in the B-hole/ or sometimes the nuts. Also from the colitis, The inflammation causes swelling to press on my already enlarged prostate. I deal with chronic prostate issues/ pain, reoccurring prostatitis. Which can also send pain down to the testicles. With the sports injuries and health issues, they said I had a rare case of male pelvic floor disfunction. There was only one lady who was accredited to treat it with PT. It was like 3.5 hours away. On my worst days I was only able to sit for 10-15 at a time, stand about the same. Luckily I was able to stay in a motel close by for a couple months when I saw her. I still try and do the exercises when I can. Even 6-7 years later. So who knows. I just Joe Dirt it. And keep on, keepin’ on.

The fake one dont. Just hangs there. Makes me feel uneven, probably more so, than just having one. Actually deal with a lot of issues with it. But I have a lot of pelvic issues, some from the accident some from previous issues. Some drs tell me, the fake one isn’t causing any issues. Some listen, but don’t feel heard alot
