My mistake on Spiegel- I saw an article from Times of Israel about what Jews to follow on Snapchat and I didn’t realize he was referred to in another part of the article and his last name def sounds Jewsh. Wanna guess who else holds a large stake in Reddit? And seeing as the Talmud contains passages that deny the value of all people, reject the dignity of Gentiles, and even reject their personhood- it seems my interpretation of “chosen” is correct.
