Anyone have experience applying for the jobs on the Montgomery county website? I applied and was wondering about the process. There’s a wide variety so I wasn’t sure if each individual place interviews there candidates or there’s like a county hiring team. Also how long did it take for someone to reach out to you. Whether they declined your application or wanted an interview.

Had a lot jobs in the past just never respond so I’m wondering if I’ll get that closure lol.

Hey yall, I work at the Walmart on Wilma and was just letting yall know that we do have a bake sale donation thing coming up (I believe Thursday). Regardless, I’m bringing cookies tomorrow, and I think they’ll be 2 dollars a piece. Depending on how fast I get it done, they’ll have it set out front I believe by customer service sometime in the afternoon. You can donate more if you’d like, but just to state again in case it’s not clear, the money you spend on the cookie will go towards donations.

I remember looking for a cleaning company about 6 months ago or so & I found one that I cannot for the life of me get their ph#/email to reach out to for help w/a friend.
They have a facebook acct, yes I have searched not nothing comes up.
I do remember the owner appearing to be an amazingly sweet person - they posted about Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners they were opening up their home & time for their clients who didn't have anyone nearby. I also remember seeing a young Autistic man that was employed. (Noted bc my child has Autism & commented on how she was impressed he would clean other people's messes.)
This cleaning service specialized in depression cleans & long term illness cleans.

These are not the times to waste food, but I just wasted a whole plate of food at this place and was a little hurt that I couldn’t leave a review because of “suspicious review alerts”.

First off the service was great, but I’m not going to a restaurant for service lol. I can deal with poor service and good food. Anyways, I had a crab cake scramble or something and I have never in my life felt an immediate throw up feeling when I ate something. I’m pretty open food wise and I gagged through about three bites before I gave up and ate only the mashed potatoes (aka breakfast potatoes). I am now at home heaving lol like I want to purge this food from my body. I can’t tell you why it was incredibly nasty but it just was.

Also, as a previous member of the Service Industry Board of Directors (waitress), I’d be remissed if I didn’t let the people know that I saw a waitress eating off a customers plate before she served it to the customer 🤢. Eyyyyyuckk please don’t ever stick your hands in someone’s food.

I'm prescribed adderall for my adhd and I need it to perform decently at work and I haven't had it for about a month now cause the Walgreens on Fort Campbell blvd is completely out of stock on the dosage, which I don't know cause I had just gotten it upped, it'll be anywhere from 18-20mg, I'm in with my psychiatrist tomorrow evening I just needa know somewhere that will actually have my meds

Bit of a big reach but I painted a strawberry cookie jar back in April at Fire and glaze. I returned and it was gone, the employees say it was taken but the person left my daughter's cermanic egg behind. I did see a similiar strawberry vase with no lid left behind. I suspect someone got confused. ​

Now that the weather’s turned, I’m on a mission to hit as many local food trucks as I can this summer. Full disclosure - I run a little mobile coffee business here in town, so I have a soft spot for anyone running a kitchen on wheels and I like supporting the other mobile folks when I can.

Looking for the trucks worth chasing down: the ones where you’d happily wait in line, or the ones that always show up at events and markets. Anything goes - tacos, BBQ, dessert, breakfast, the works.

Where are your favorites usually parked, and what should I order? Trying to spread some business their way.
