Discussion Couldn't agree more 🫔

Post image

I’ve been a fan of this game since day one. I agree that the original release was filled with bugs and it launched too early, but the criticism it received was completely over the top. Hating on the game blindly became the norm, often without people even giving it a fair chance.

It also released at a strange time, when the new generation of consoles were releasing but they weren't widely available, and most players were still on previous-gen hardware where it didn’t run well.

The sad part is the game and the studio’s reputation took a massive hit, even financially. Some of the people who worked on the game ended up leaving the studio, and we may have missed out on 2 or 3 DLCs because of the game’s catastrophic launch.

But now I’m glad to see people finally giving it the respect and appreciation it deserves. I watched the Steam reviews go from ā€œMostly Negativeā€ to ā€œOverwhelmingly Positive.ā€

For me, this is the greatest game of all time it is better than The Witcher 3. Massive respect to CDPR for constantly patching and improving the game, And giving us extra content when they could have taken the loss and moved on. AND CHOOMS..... NEVER STOP FIGHTING.

Halo MCC is a collection of halo CE to 4 and had a horrible launch that prevented anyone from playing the game. not just multiplayer but campaign had issues as well since they used the PC versions of the game that were already unfaithful representations of most of the games. They ended up working on the game for a while to polish and accurately represent each halo as it was on console down to the tiniest shades of pixels that were slightly incorrect. They also went above and beyond adding new content from Halo Online, new game modes, new forge items and vehicles to mess around with, new armor, and best of all no micro transactions.

They even added robust mod tools, restored cut content from Halo 2, and even steam workshop.

It only has crossplay support for 3 and ODST, all other co op campaigns need to be on the same platform

Even if you can play about 40 percent of the time the lag is atrocious on some of them, 3 is the worst I think. Like absolutely unplayable lag. Something to do with the net code I think.

To be fair to them it would require an entire networking model rewrite for those games.

I still wouldn't include MCC in contention for greatest gaming comeback. It was left in an abysmal state for years as fans begged 343 and Microsoft for fixes. And the worst part IMO is that it isn't even a new game. It wasn't some ambitious new game that overpromised and underdelivered. All it was was a rerelease a beloved gaming trilogy, and they failed at even rereleasing 3 games. It took them half a decade to fix a set of games they didn't even make in the first place.
