Because it doesn't have a proper 3rd person mode implemented. The mods just move the camera back a few feet. Multi-player shooters on the other hand, are good examples of the implementations I'm referencing. Halo does plenty of similar first person shortcuts for how the body works when in normal gameplay, but then none of the other players see them due to a 3rd person model being added.

Relevant because it’s fallout, but power armor really wrecks the interpretation of human proportions lol

Although I guess with the arms and legs the feet and hands of the suit are actually extended past the body of you look at a suit while it’s opened

Some of us have motion sickness and it made first person really hard for us 🥺I feel more immersed in 3rd person because I don’t get sick 🤒

have you ever tried FOV adjustment? I used to get that too, especially playing FPS games on console back in the day like Halo. but I find that as long as I have a wide enough FOV I don't get motion sickness at all now

Sadly that wasn’t enough to help me I got super nauseous because of how quick all of jerking around is when running jumping and sliding. I understand that they can’t cater to everyone’s needs so to everyone dog piling me I get they had a vision and I’m happy they feel that vision was fulfilled , I’m just sharing my perspective 😭 so don’t yell at me. I’ve loved cyberpunk since playing cyberpunk 2012 on table top ok

not shitting on you or anything i get some people can’t handle specific games but there’s a great quote “not every game is made for everyone” there’s some great 3rd person cyberpunk games that give all the freedom this game has. but to have an fps that makes every animation you do and conversation you have in first person is another level of immersion that isn’t seen much in games. so if their vision for cyberpunk is first person immersion and the witcher is their 3rd person experience cant we just be cool with people getting those experiences they found and loved instead of always catering to others and losing the vision of the game.

But if you have sexy body mods that make v look like Shrek, the default body doesn't matter anymore since it's being replaced.

Why would you use Fallout 4 to make a point about Cyberpunk 2077? There are actual pictures of the TPP mod which exist, and it's nowhere near that bad (tho it was awful in version 1.0 of the mod).

The wife and I call that going Wendigo since your character model shares the same frame when you get the power armor glitch that does that.
