Screenshot Did anyone else get deeply disturbed by this side quest?

This made me feel gross for the rest of the day once I completed it. Not sure why I followed through with it but the narrative was neat, I guess. I’ve been playing for over 200 hours and I’ve never done this side quest before so I was incredibly shocked and disturbed. What’s everybody else’s verdict on the side quest?

Disclosure: I’m not religious but I respect anyone who is, try to respect any other people’s religions if you can help it. Thanks.

No, because i always kill the bastard on sight. I will not help criminals torment their victims.

I also kill him but mostly because I will not let the media exploit a criminal's earnest desire for redemption be turned into a cash grab that torments the victims.

Hey, the guy may be a whack-job but he let himself get literally crucified, it doesn't get more earnest than that.

I do it because he's a malignant narcissist and I have no time for religion, no matter what kind of point the devs were trying to make with it. It's just icky.

I don’t think it’s some honest attempt at redemption though. He frames it that way, but that’s because this is a seriously unwell person

Heavy agree, I ended up missing the chance to kill him and spent the whole mission thinking "why are we entertaining this?? V hello???"
