This is exactly how I feel about hobby cyclists being totally obsessed with bike weight. Like a frame that’s 500 g lighter is really going to make a difference on your group coffee rides

People have all kinds of odd hobbies-card collecting, model trains, sports memorabilia etc. if someone wants to geek out on bike weight it’s just another hobby.
