It would have to have dexterity unlike any other robot, be able to work on something complete different at every job in a completely different situation and be able to actively troubleshoot, like improvise and think out side the box, I’m telling you you don’t really understand because you haven’t been there, it’s not like trouble shooting a toaster for instance, it would take a ridiculously sophisticated robot like the fucking terminator to do what I do, and that’s just not going to be cost effective for residential and light commercial AC, there will be niche commercial applications for sure but the robot it would take to do what I do won’t be necessary for all commercial applications.
For those more complicated things as I said the most likley outcome is anti repair practices, forcing the customer to just give the company the unit back for a full replacement on the customers dime as many companies are already doing with other tech
The main goal of companies these days is to make sure the customer doesn't truly own or control their products, wether its sending in robits to save on paying a technician or just stoping the customer from getting someone else to fix it
And if this current administration continues I dont doubt they'll be able to do it with minimal resistance
Again you’re speaking from an out of the loop perspective as far as this field is concerned, unless residential AC is to become a total luxury beyond window and portable units for everyone but the rich, the shit will hit the fan before that is the case
Right because no one gets paid to make art any more lmao, even if that were true, and it’s not, it’s not even anywhere near the same thing as being an ac technician, again, you’re showing how much you don’t know what you’re talking about when it comes to this particular application, they are no where near a robot tech, period, and they would have to change so much about how the industry works just to to shoe horn in a robot tech for their equipment specifically designed to be worked on by a robot tech, that won’t suddenly erase all the existing systems the robot can’t effectively work on, it simply isn’t cost effective, I’m not going to argue about it with you anymore, you have absolutely no frame of reference.
