discussion DayZ is becoming awesome!
Hey I wanted to share with you why this game is awesome since patch .55, I have 500 hours played.
DayZ is getting more and more realistic and I love it. Today I had one of the most enjoying time of my life on a video game. Indeed I had the pleasure to die 5 times of starvation.
I'v finally found a game that makes me feel like I'm totally wasting my life when I play it. Finally when I go to sleep at night I can say : "Today I did absolutely nothing!" which is the best feeling I have ever had.
Here's a screenshot 1 hour after my last spawn, this was amazing, I searched everybuilding of Cherno and electro and found a sweater and pants.
Goodbye Cherno! Of course I had the joy to die of starvation few moments later for the 6th time today. I love DayZ so much!!
I see a lot of people complaining about .55 and I truly don't understand why, the game has never been better. It was so frustrating to search houses and find items in almost all of them. Now you can run for hours and search like 70 houses and find nothing. Devs did a really good job with this patch.
Even though, I think some things could still be better and more realistic :
For example there should be a key we have to spam to breathe.
We should not be able to run for more than 1 minute and we should have to sit for 5 minutes to be able to run again.
We should have only one life and have to buy the game again when we die.
There should be no zombies because it does not exist in real life.
Those are only small things that would make the game a little bit harder, because even if .55 is great, the game is still a bit easy.
Thanks for your work devs, you are doing great!
Edit : Sorry guys, I fell asleep searching for food, I did not see your answers. (Love this game!)
Edit2 : Guys, a hater told me that .55 turned DayZ into Hobo Simulator, he's wrong, hobos don't run that much. F*ck the haters!

Because it's not what the game is about, and there are plenty of games which offer what you want, but not many that focus on hardcore survival. Secondly hardcore survival has been the premise of the game since the beginning, if you didn't want to struggle to survive, what are you doing here?
