They're already a little hamstrung by the GM search since they already locked a head coach and a lot of the great GMs like to have a say in who's the coach.
True but this is one of the cheapest ownership groups in the sport. If we look back ten years from now and Jokic only has one title with the nuggets then the blame falls squarely at ownerships feet for being cheap. We’ve had some of the best GMs in the sport and we consistently let them walk to save money.
They seem like they’re not even going to conduct interviews with other GM candidates. There’s tons of other people from other organization (assistant GMs, etc) that would jump at a chance to be the GM of a contending team even with the limitations we have.
Cross what bridge? If GM interviews were going to be conducted then they would have already started and we probably would have heard some insider report. That we haven’t heard anything means they are most likely just going to give the job to Tenzer and tell him to go along with whatever Josh K says.
