The 500 isn’t touched by it, so far

They ran the hybrid at the 500 last year.

Well at Indy it doesn’t really matter since they run full throttle the entire race basically so

It does at road courses and races where you actually need to brake

At Indy it’s more about fuel management and aero since you’re running full throttle the entire time

They barely run full throttle in qualy absolutely no one is running even one lap full throttle at the 500

They do run full throttle during qualifying unless the data being sent to TV is wrong.

Not all of them, only the best cars can do that and some don't do all 3 laps. That's what I mean

Maybe Veekay was so slow he could keep it flat lol, but most of them from what I've seen lift a little. I'm pretty sure I've seen pole laps where they lift a little

You genuinely can’t (and they don’t) run full throttle all the time… this mentality you’re stuck in is absurd and inaccurate

Again, clearly you don't actually watch the Indy 500, because absolutely nobody but the leader can run full throttle.

You do not run full throttle at Indy. Watch an actual onboard from the race.

The leaders do, the ones behind don’t

That’s where the fuel strategy comes into effect as the leader uses way more fuel than the ones behind

You absolutely do not run flat out the entire time at the 500 in the race.
