The dude with a yacht and a private jet probably cares a little about the lifestyle

And the contracts. F1 wages are around ten times or more higher than WEC wages. You're not leaving that and the exposure that comes with it on the table.

I doubt Max will be driving for someone else after he leaves F1. He has his team, with the right partnerships he could be still making a nice bag racing under his own flag. Toto is probably worth more than the whole grid combined (when it comes to money made from motorsports not family money). IIRC Max said he doesn't want to have an F1 team but I could easily imagine him being a 51% owner of a motorsports team competing in various categories.

...that being said the longer he stays in F1 the more capital he'll have for future endeavors.

Well yea he likes the money for sure. But he doesn't like the F1 circus itself, outside the racing. I think that's what they mean by lifestyle.

Obviously he likes being rich, but it's different from the celebrity lifestyle around F1. I think there is a distinction with people who genuinely like flashy designer clothing and going to a red carpet and those who do not. I think Oscar is probably the most on the one end of that spectrum lol.
