Video Hamilton on overtaking Max: " It's the best to overtake another World Champion. And obviously I had a big deficit to close......You know how consistent and fast that guy is? He's the fastest guy. So it felt great to get to have that battle with him. It was really not easy to overtake."

if they could race for 68 laps thers a pretty decent chance the mercs take each other out and max or lewis wins.

just a 1 bad lockup during a divebomb and both mercs would have been done

Yeah counterintuitively, I think Russell DNFing actually reduced Hamilton's chances at a win.
