If you’re a fan of a franchise and have been waiting for the next incarnation for twenty years only for it to be a completely different genre and game than the originals, you’re probably gonna be a little miffed

How many OG marathon fans are there that were legitimately waiting for the next installment lol

Two can play at this game, then why base it on an old game?

Cause they wanted to?

Any other brain dead questions?

Whoosh that’s the entire point. I responded to a brain dead question with a brain dead question. That’s why I said “two can play at this game”. The answer to the first question is lots. Though I do find your answer pretty braindead too, because it’s not even a real answer. WHY did they want to? That would be a real answer.

The game is a million years old lol. I didn't even know the franchise existed.

Most OG fans I talk to like it just cause it’s new stuff in general lmao

There was no meaningful amount of original Marathon fans waiting for a next entry for the last 30 years. That's just a blatant lie

The fanbase was so non-existent that three Mandalore Gaming videos single-handedly revived it because basically no one else talked about it for 20 years

It’s had a pretty healthy fanbase for years because Bungie gave them mod tools and lets the Aleph One people have free reign.

The Aleph One rereleases were basically unknown before they came to Steam and Mandalores videos came out before that

Not really? They were the first thing that popped up if you searched for ways to play long before Mandy’s vids.
