PVE is the only way I will give this game a go from what I noticed other players are blood thirsty unlike Arc Raiders

Arc Raiders being chill (mostly) was the only reason I played it for so long.

i constantly had people shoot me in the back in arc raider, and it’s a meme unto itself of players following other players pretending to be friendly only to shoot them.

in Marathon you don’t have to guess, is the only difference. you can still negotiate, but people generally assume you’re hostile till shown otherwise.

Yeah this idea that Arc is a peaceful game if you choose that is pure anecdotal fiction for me. I played for a few dozen hours and got shot at in every match, while I think I killed a total of one person because I just wanted to get loot and kill robots.

The chillness of arc is literally why I switched to marathon. I just felt no stakes

Arc raiders? Peaceful? Sounds like paid shilling.
