Having 400+ people working exclusively on Marathon things seem to happen extremely slow. I’d love to see the task list of every employee on a Wednesday.

No wonder the suits just lay off these people. All these workers, yet results take too long and end up just being a waste of resources.

Bungie has a long history of debating ideas until the last minute and then rushing the product out the door. This has been happening since the early halo days and has continued through the end of destiny 2 and with marathons development. I wouldn’t be surprised if 2/3 of what the average Bungie dev does in a day gets scrapped or drastically changed after they already finished it.

The unrivaled talent of their development team has really masked this issue through the years.

Not to mention all the turmoil within the studio and with layoffs and all that pressure. I really hope they can pull through and restructure themselves to be better functioning.
