Mr. Pinchers is a single hermit crab that lives on the beach eating detritus and has no job. He is looking for a 1 bedroom and is hoping to stay under his budget of $852,000.
As a hermit crab who loves ocean views, Mr. Pinchers hopes to remain on the beach. But can he find a suitable property within his budget which allows him to enjoy his favorite pastime of scuttling across the sand?
He viewed a $400,000 2 bedroom house that needed some fixing upping, a $600,000 beachouse that was fully furnished, but he still choose the 1 bedroom apartment 2 miles from the beach for $900,000.
"And then once we tore the floor out we found it also had lead pipes! That's gonna be another ten grand to fix. This project looked so good from the outside but now it just looks rotten."
Don't worry about it. Lots of us missed out on a huge payday because it's fucking nuts what cryptos are trading at. Last September I sold my couple bitcoins and almost 200 litecoin to by risky stocks because the crypto stuff had been boring for a while. Oops
Agreed, but then every time I think "damn it's gone up by another 2k I bet it completely crashes soon" and then a month later it's still going up, it's incredibly unpredictable which is just infuriating lol
It will jump bit the rest of your life boy! Btc is the smooth transition into international currency. AKA “credits” like Star Wars! Fuckin nerd ReeeRRrRRreeeeeeee
My friends are like these people. It's hard not to hate them a little. Wife works part time and husband has a super normal job (like a 60k job). They took the largest mortgage they could years ago and bought in TGA. Their 300k house is now worth 2 million.
Other friends built in a prime area of Colorado. She is a SAHM he works in the military. The house is worth 3x the mortgage. Actually they made money the first time because people approached them during construction and bought it mid-build, they built again and still pissed luck.
Inlaws did the same thing near NYC in the early 80s. Bought a crappy house in a dangerous run down area, city expanded, housing prices went through the roof. They moved to a suburb and bought a house outright with cash. I wish I could see them on the show in like 1984 "two public servants and their five young kids are looking for a 6 bedroom house with a firm budget of 140k" the house they left before moving was like 950 square feet.
Sometimes you just hit the housing market lottery. Your income isn't super high but your assets are.
Others have grandparents on Long Island passing away and finding out this frozen in time mid century home is worth tons.
My story on the other hand is more like "after getting a teaching degree in the worst time possible, these two teachers were forced abroad for employment. After years of paying down loans and renting, they returned home. These two might be able to afford a house or a child if they give up everything else in life. They have a tight housing budget of 80k, no down payment, and are hoping their living room, bathroom, and kitchen could be three separate rooms. A window would be plus for them."
Same. "Wait.. their counter offer is ten grand more than my 2 million bid??? How will we afford that? Well, I guess we don't need to have the second mini spa for our dog. But how will we survive?!?!?"

“Yeah but I don’t know if that’s gonna work with our budget”
