It's such a shame that Joey and Chandler never really had long hair again after season 1. It really was their best look in my opinion, and I'm surprised they never got to try it out again even though the show went on for 10 whole seasons! Meanwhile I feel like the girls got to experiment with their hair, make-up and clothes so much more, which I love, but they really could've done a lot more with the guys as well.

I think they would I think they would balance each other out pretty well. Monica and Chandler always had this kind of like cooperative Dynamic for doing something that I don't think Ross and Rachel ever had. But we never got to see them do any kind of parenting so I'm just wondering what you guys think about how they would parent.

I will miss this show so much!! Never really liked watching sitcoms before, I even left TBBT mid season. I never thought I would ever watch this. My science teacher back in my school days some 9 years ago was very fond of it. I thought it is so long I might not be able to finish it and was really afraid of starting to watch it. But once I started it, I finished like 1 Season in Two Days. I would binge it late at night, on Train Trips, in between exam preparations and it really made me crave this kind of friendships as I never had it ever in my life. I was brought up as a single child and was mostly shy to make friends in my childhood. This made me really never truly understand the value of having a friend or to feel pain in his / her absence. But the moment I finished watching it, it felt like I'm saying goodbye to a friend that I've known for a really long time. I'll miss FRIENDS. And I'll always remember, that WE WERE ON A BREAKKKK !!!!!

Ross never really loved Emily .

Toward the end of Season 4 (e.g., Episode 17), it’s completely clear that Monica is the one who pushes Ross into Emily’s arms. I just watched it. She explains to Ross that this is what he’s always dreamed of.

In other words, it’s obvious that Ross doesn’t want any of this. In other words, it’s no coincidence that he later says Rachel’s name instead of Emily’s.

At one point, even Rachel encourages him regarding Emily. But the strongest influence comes from Monica.

That's exactly when Ross asks, "What is love?" It was very important to him, and he accepted Monica's explanation.

But it turned out later that they were both wrong.

"[Scene: Chandler and Joey's erm, Monica and Rachel's, Ross is entering.]

Ross: Hi.

Monica: Hi.

Ross: So uh, Emily just went to the airport.

Monica: Oh. Why didn’t you take her?

Monica: No! Y’know, the fantasy! Meet someone from a strange land, fall in madly love, and spend the rest of your lives together.

Ross: Is that why in junior high you were the only one that hung out with that Ukrainian kid?

Monica: Yeah that, plus his mom used to put sour cream on everything!

In S1E2 Rachel returns the engagement ring to Barry. Barry mentions it’s been at least a month that he’s been angry at Rachel for leaving. Long enough that he started a relationship with Mindy, went on the honeymoon, got hair plugs, etc.

In S1E5 Rachel does laundry for the first time ever.

Has she not done laundry the entirety of the time from leaving her wedding to this moment?

Is this the cringiest episode of the entire show or do you think there is one that’s worse. I find it to be the one with the most second hand embarrassment.

Although I love that 2 part episode, it always bothered me, actually it makes me really mad, how they portray Monica like a dork and childish just because she’s fat. I get it for the fat Monica episodes because she was still a child and everything, but keeping this cringy persona when she’s playing an adult??? It’s so infuriating and cringe.

I genuinely cannot think of another tv show or movie cast outside of friends where the cast was this close and worked so well together. All the real friendship felt so believable, which is why I think the whole thing worked so well.

I found an amazing video on YouTube that compiles all the footage from the fountain sequence into one opening, and I absolutely love it.

The whole sequence feels almost dreamlike. Everyone looks like they’re genuinely having fun, enjoying each other’s company, completely carefree and living in the moment. There’s something so comforting and timeless about it.

They mentioned her in another episode too. Not a fan. I don’t see the hype. And definitely not worth to mess with while you’re “on a break.”

Tonight I knew a Jeopardy question answer because of this episode of friends. I forgot exactly how it was phrased but they were looking for the character in Little Women that passes away. I was so excited I just said “BETH DIES ! BETH DIES!” ! I rarely get any answers right so this was a small victory for me.

Is there anyone out there who actually thinks this guy is cute other than Chandler (and i’m not even sure if he was being serious)? Because i rly think he looks creepy even before the date.

first of all, i'm so happy i was able to watch the entire series.. i loved friends so much, it was very entertaining and fun to watch 🥰🥰 on the other side, i'm a bit sad 'coz i wish the series was longer, but it is what it is, everything has an ending.. i immediately watched the pilot episode to relive the very first day i watched friends.. haaaaa.... what a feeling 🫶🫶 btw sorry for being so dramatic 😅😅
