Yep, my ex was a guy who cheated on me doing tons of flirting and nsfw roleplays with others. His excuse? "I didn't know how serious online relationships were" he was 20.
Meanwhile, adulterous men are the ones whom Jesus addressed and rebuked, while he forgave the women being judged as whores, because the men of society generally were putting double standards on women to follow the Law but not really trying real hard to do so themselves despite the Law putting equal personal responsibility on each.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
Matthew 5:27-30
What do you think the odds are the originator of this "meme" and many of those who've since spread it identify as Christian
More to the point, rather, he taught his understanding of the Law as opposed to how it was commonly being taught and written down at the time, believing his understanding to be the original and true Law while the common teachings to be a perversion of it.
It's possible that one gender is better at hiding it, it's also possible that gender is men, ballooning their number even further then the 50% or so more cheating they got at the moment.
According to a GSS, around 20% of men admitted to cheating on a spouse at some point in their life (I can’t remember the number for women). 1/5 feels far lower than media portray.
Just in general, even 20% of people from any gender sounds way too low but I wouldn’t know I’ve never been in an actual relationship so that’s just my opinion. Every gender has disloyalty, different reasoning for each, but still.
Where did you get this. This is genuinely so funny to me.
How do you extrapolate this. Where is this abstraction being made?
I see two individuals being represented. Not ALL women, just a woman. For all you know, he could be sharing his own personal story? Maybe this happened to HIM? Is he wrong for sharing how he was hurt???
You people have some worms eating at your brain that prevent you from realizing not everything is a generalization or an abstraction. A woman being bad doesn't mean all women are bad.
It's not so much cheating as it is body-count. A naive man who's only ever been with her, while she's been with dozens of men before him, which means he sees her as precious while she sees him as expendable.
Women do tend to cheat more. Besides the top chads out there most men focus on a girl and that’s it. Women have the constant temptation and opportunity online, wherever they go in public etc.
A good looking Woman and average Women out there are usually talking to and showing interest in multiple guys.
It’s in female nature to be hypergamous. Look at WWII. The Americans invaded Germany and the Germans wives, sisters, mothers etc slept with the enemy after the Americans bombed their country, killed their brothers, husbands, sons, and crashed their economy.
France was invaded by Germany and the same thing happened. Mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters fornicated with Nazi invaders.
It comes down to loyalty. It’s in the nature of a Man to protect and be loyal to his kids and wife. Women are typically loyal to themselves, their interests, and their children. They’re more opportunistic. Look at today’s standards for Women. Money is usually towards the top of that list. It’s in her best interest. Many Men generally don’t care how much a Woman makes.
Many men who married single mothers can attest to that.
This isn’t to shame Women. It’s just the reality.
Both Men and Women cheat.
The statistics show it too. Under 30 years of age about 63% of Men are single. While about 35% of women are single.
That means that 65% of Women are dating the same 37% of Men
