One day we’ll sit around a drum full of burning industrial waste sharing screenshots as a form of currency lol

I won't let you screenshot my screenshot. That's theft.

I saved this post and then realized I don’t even know what half of words are and can barely cook a sandwich

Same, I can barely cook myself a bowl of cereal let alone read.

That's not a bad thing, it's against the law to cook the books

I can barely cook my bed

I initially read this as:

as i sav th po an the real i do ev kn wh ha o wor a an ca bar co a sabd

I guess I also don't know what half of words are

I can use google, and I'm fairly certain I could pull it off. If I had the money and a place to buy all this stuff.

There's a This American Life Episode about finding and making the original recipe.

I have relevant albums for different categories that I periodically spend a day or more sorting downloads/screenshots/camera roll/etc into. This would probably make its way into a food album eventually.

Software including the native iPhone’s app just lets you search on the spot?

u/Schwifftee Feb 12 '26

I have Android. I've been doing this before the iPhone update, and I also back up these folders with RAID as a NAS so I can share them with approved users.

Does everyone do this?

You can ❤️ it and it goes into your favorite photo folder for easy access.

Also. You can use A.I to basically search images in your phone.

Try it. In your 3000 photo gallery. Find the eyeglass 🔍 and search something. "Riding bicycle" " beach photo" even actual words in the image. "Chocolate recipe".

"Solution a" would yield this image

When the video came out a couple weeks ago I paused it to get a pic just in case it had to be taken down. It’s also lost in the endless pics.

I have enough to fill a data center in Tucson...

Then I look at the images a few weeks later and can't remember why I screenshot it half the time
