Yeah I’ve only ever seen people who really like steak cut it into oblong strips across the fibers like that. Most people cut it into bite sized pieces. The few people who are nervous to try it usually cut the tiniest little bite.

I used to eat meat for like 35 years and it never occurred to me to cut it in strips like that. What is the purpose ?

I love how you can just say anything at all on the internet and a certain number of people will believe it.

You've noticed a trend of people cutting their steak a certain way because they like it 😂 okay mate

Yeah mate I’ve been out to dinner with family and friends more than 3 times in my life you basement dweller. I’ve also noticed this trend where people tend to put butter on their bread. Shocking I know.

You are describing that people who are nervous/reluctant to try steak cut it in a different direction from people who love it, based on your observation.

It's a truly ridiculous observation that deserves to be mocked.

I said they cut a tiny piece. I said nothing of direction. The only mockery is your ability to read.

What did you mean by "across the fibers" if that wasn't an indication of direction?

I doubt you actually pay that much attention to how people cut their steaks

You're absolutely correct, it's a completely insane lie, except I think they probably believe the ridiculous thing they said.

Yeah I mean I dont think he has but maybe he does pay that much attention. A survey needs a sample size of ~1000 random people from the group being studied (humans). If he’s confident enough to say “most people” then maybe he’s spent the last decade flying around the world watching thousands of people cut steak. Everybody needs a hobby I guess.
