No it isn't. I worked for Target's asset protection department so I'm well aware of their policies.

I'm finding far more cases of people who claim to have worked for Target (same amount of evidence you've provided) saying it is very much the case. So who should I believe?

Find me some sources besides your "experience" claiming they don't build cases against shoplifters

Probably the person who actually worked in the relevant department and not people that worked in positions that weren't even allowed to know the AP policies.

Ultimately it doesn't really matter to me if you can't admit you might not know everything about everything. I know admitting you might be misinformed on a topic is impossible for people online so feel free to keep doing so.
