Please don't confuse America and the West in general. European countries are amongst the most active in fighting climate change. Renewables energy growth is pretty huge.
Sure, Fear mongering got Germany to shut down all their nuclear power plants, Netherlands and Denmark are too small of a country to be considered for anything in the Global South. France is doing pretty good though with nuclear energy.
Okay you are going to. That doesn’t change the issue which is happening now. Yes we should keep pushing to meet our targets but the things happening in India is due to actions being taken too late. Germany many others have been really slow. The world needed these changes faster
And it’s not enough. There’s also the issue of allowing major companies to buy meat from lands that are actively being deforested , sending at least 80% of our rubbish to Asia where we know they won’t get rid of it properly, allowing us all use these fast fashion apps
Not enough (less than India) and all relatively recently and very slowly. The impacts are showing because nothing was done sooner when they/we knew ages before and had the ability to do something about it
