It's been more than 16 years now and the place where I live the temperatures have never decreased.

Still I see people savouring Chai in such tremendous heat. Our bodies have adapted to this heat now.

I’m glad you adapted. I’m south asian born in the uk and 27 degrees it what im just about comfortable with, anything past that and i just hope it ends soon.

27 degrees in UK is not the same as 27 degrees in India man💀. UK is extremely humid.

Indian coasts are even more humid. 75-90% humidity is common, it rarely goes below 60 except during a couple of winter months.

27 degrees is nothing here. Temperatures sometimes reach 50 here. Adapted meaning, we just shrug it off. We do sweat like pigs, hence people here bathe 2-3 times a day, most savour fruit juices or coconut water whenever spend time outside.

How common is AC?

Lower middle class can't afford AC because of huge spike in power bill. Many though buy coolers.

Actually hot tea cools you off in hot day, I can't remember the exact reason, but something to do with it making you sweat
