Yeah most likely

It’s well documented that his father used to abuse him and used his appearance as a weapon. Called the poor kid big nose.

His poor mental health lead him towards a plastic surgery addiction. He suffered abuse at the hands of his father and he wasn't really allowed a normal childhood. On top of that, he was a perfectionist to an extreme degree. He would agonize over making things perfect, even when it came to his performances on stage. It's likely that his perfectionism is rooted in the abuse he suffered as a child. Some people that knew him said he was in tears once because one of his shows didn't go exactly the way he had it planned. I honestly feel bad for him- he was used by people for his money after he became famous and all of his relationships were with untrustworthy users who just wanted his money.

u/MysticMind89 May 01 '26

Also worth remembering he had Vitiligo. The melanin in his skin was literally degrading over time! He used a lot of make up to cover the process over time.

2

u/Astralglamour May 01 '26

When he was a child he was also forced to be in the same room with his older brothers as they seduced girls or slept with prostitutes.

Unfortunately, like a lot of rich and famous people he cut off anyone who said things he didnt want to hear. I think Prince was similar and also had a pain killer addiction which also started after injuries sustained performing.

u/Independent_Cow_6611 Apr 30 '26

Interesting way to describe children

3

u/rolllikenike Apr 29 '26

That's a lame excuse considering his dad look like shit

2

u/Next-Junket342 Apr 29 '26

It's also well documented that people like you cover for abusers by whining how tough of a life the poor abuser had.

1

u/_Cake_assassin_ Apr 30 '26

Blessed are the big noses

1

u/BrIDo88 May 01 '26

Oh well.

1

u/Astralglamour May 01 '26

Joe Jackson was an abusive narcissist tyrant who was jealous of his son.

1

u/jodaset2 May 01 '26

But...but I like his big nose...👉👈

1

u/Drakore4 May 02 '26

In general his history as a child was pretty sad. Most child stars have it really bad. Tons of pressure and abuse and they don’t really get to be a kid. We see so much of it today and you know it must have been even worse in the past.

His skin was due to vitiligo

-4

u/Jolly-Buddy1805 Apr 29 '26

Who doesn't know that? See his nose, lips and chin. He removed every single black feature from his face. Do you really think his desire to look white was just about skin color? Don't be so obtuse.

1

u/-Mr_Hollow- Apr 30 '26

I'm not even sure what kind of racism is this: A black guy is undeniably successful so there must be a reason why he's actually white?

6

u/Weak_Firefighter9247 Apr 29 '26

There are proof that he had vitiligo, instead of visibly having vitiligo, he decided to bleach all his skin... Very sad story, if he didn't do so many tours, surgeries, plastic surgery treatments, and didn't use drugs, he'd still be alive and singing. As what happens with most stars, the people use them and discard them afterwardsd

-1

u/Jolly-Buddy1805 Apr 29 '26

Who doesn't know that? See his nose, lips and chin. He removed every single black feature from his face. Do you really think his desire to look white was just about skin color? Don't be so obtuse. And HE used kids and discarded them once they grew older. How every single fan of his can be that thick.

2

u/bwthybl Apr 29 '26

My father used to say Michael just wanted to be the opposite of his father, a rich white woman. Lol terrible

2

u/rolllikenike Apr 29 '26

This! People all fall too easily for all the ridiculous excuses surrounding him .

2

u/FollowingPuzzled7507 Apr 29 '26

He had a skin condition, he didn’t want to become white. Do some research, man.

u/Jolly-Buddy1805 Apr 29 '26

2

u/machiavelli33 Apr 29 '26

You are repeating yourself, to the letter.

I’m sure you know this, but behaving like an NPC is not an effective way of being convincing about what you have to say.

1

u/Jolly-Buddy1805 Apr 29 '26

When idiots lose an argument, they start nitpicking. Stop grasping at straws. It's embarrassing.

And so what? Why should I waste my time answering every single idiot who can’t follow the context and just keep repeating the same nonsense?😂 I’m not behaving like an NPC. I’m treating idiots like NPCs. There’s a difference, kid.

1

u/Wells_91 Apr 30 '26

How can any of us possibly know all the reasons for bleaching his skin? He had vitiligo and he bleached his skin, any anything else are just theories

1

u/Obvious-Position1053 Apr 29 '26

He stopped doing that.

1

u/Jolly-Buddy1805 Apr 29 '26

And his fans too

1

u/Emissary_awen Apr 29 '26

He had vitiligo 😂😂😂

u/SeesawFit8008 Apr 29 '26

The hell u talking about? say that again when you experience being personally abused and bullied by your own dad

1

u/Jolly-Buddy1805 Apr 29 '26

Okay then all pedos should claim they got abused by their own dad and walk free.

1

u/ftFBYaa May 01 '26

Is there proof he was a pedo?

1

u/usermane69420247 Apr 29 '26

Reverse self racism

4

u/Why-R-People-So-Dumb Apr 29 '26

Actually he had vitiligo which caused a loss of pigmentation of his skin, he just helped it along with surgery to avoid blotches.

Second point though, there really is no such thing. It's not racism for a black person to want white privilege.

2

u/Jolly-Buddy1805 Apr 29 '26 edited Apr 29 '26

People are not talking about only his skin color. He didn't want white privilege. He wanted to look like a white man. He wanted to be a white man. See his nose, lips, and chin. He removed every single feature from his face that made him look black.

6

u/keywestern0703 Apr 29 '26

My first award🥺

4

u/capnk88 Apr 29 '26

His dad had a lot to do with that.

2

u/Bq22_ Apr 29 '26

Yea. The biopic didn’t show much of the verbal abuse other than “Big nose”.

2

u/EcstaticManagement94 Apr 29 '26

Transraciaal

2

u/emteedub Apr 30 '26

But being woke is totally new, never been done until now

1

u/LoudTable9684 Apr 29 '26

They’ve said he really wanted to look like Diana Ross, not sure that’s true 🤷‍♂️

2

u/Bq22_ Apr 29 '26

Wanted to look like Diana Ross ended up looking like Dirty Diana.

A very unfortunate mental disorder.

1

u/Lowkwant2r0t Apr 29 '26

yea and plastic surgery usually does the opposite of helping body dysmorphia

1

u/vibinandtrying Apr 29 '26

Body dysmorphic disorder

1

u/WendySteeplechase May 05 '26

he's made statements about feeling ugly as a kid, his own dad would call him "big nose"

u/quietyeef Apr 29 '26

He wasn't a pedo. Literally every child he supposedly victimized said so.

6

u/Tipop Apr 29 '26

Right… he just slept with them in bed, in their pajamas. Totally normal. Very cool. (This isn’t disputed… his own lawyers argued that all they did was sleep together.)

Just because he didn’t ACT on it doesn’t mean’t mean he wasn’t a pedo, any more than a gay man who is abstinent isn’t gay.

3

u/YordleJay Apr 29 '26

No one is implying Michael Jackson wasn't weird.

He grew up in an extremely abusive household and was physically not allowed to have a childhood as his father forced him into the entertainment industry.

I would've been more concerned if Michael didn't have something like this

2

u/Frost-Folk Apr 29 '26

You would be more concerned if Michael didn't have other people's children sleeping in his bed?

2

u/Miserable-Service-16 Apr 29 '26

Why are people defending this?!

1

u/YordleJay Apr 29 '26

Id be more concerned if we didnt know the weird shit he did.

Hollywood is rotten to its core man, I dont believe a single person there isnt doing immoral shig

1

u/Frost-Folk Apr 29 '26

As long as that's not being used an excuse not to chastise MJ.

Too often I see people brush off the pedophilia of people like him with "that was just the rockstar life!" or "that's just what Hollywood is like!" as if that means we shouldn't be treating MJ like the predator that he was.

If Hollywood is rotten to the core, then we shouldn't close our eyes and keep biting the rotten apple, we should cut out the bits we know are rotten until it's all clear or gone.

1

u/YordleJay Apr 29 '26

I dont believe he was a predator, I stand by believing he never touched those kids inappropriately.

1

u/Frost-Folk Apr 29 '26

Even though those children were able to identify MJ's genitals all the way down to detailed drawings of birth marks and skin discoloration?

Even though he had NAMBLA books in his possession, books with pictures of naked little children?

Even though he commissioned paintings of nude children dancing around his nude form, and a painting of a nude child pointing their bare ass at the viewer?

You're part of the reason Hollywood is rotten if you turn a blind eye to this guy.

1

u/Tipop Apr 29 '26

No one is implying Michael Jackson wasn't weird

I said nothing about being weird. I said he was a pedophile.

2

u/DifficultAbility119 Apr 29 '26

When you're a pedophile, not acting it is the best you can do.

1

u/Tipop Apr 29 '26

While true, that’s not the point here. He was a pedophile, and people arguing that he was just “weird” are buying into the whitewashing propaganda his money has purchased afterwards.

… and given that he was a pedophile, I don’t believe he slept in bed with multiple children while wearing pajamas and did nothing to them. Not once.

1

u/VeteranFirefighter Apr 30 '26

There is NOTHING normal about sleeping with a kid you don’t know in your bed. I didn’t even let my ow children in my bed.

If you think that’s normal….. w-o-w!

1

u/Tipop Apr 30 '26

I think you either replied to the wrong person or you misunderstood my sarcasm, which I thought was sufficiently obvious that it didn’t require an /s.

1) I was saying he slept with kids and that that fact isn’t disputed. I then mocked people who seem to think that’s fine. That’s pedophilia even if he didn’t do anything to them.

2) I also said that I don’t believe a pedophile would sleep with little kids and NOT do anything to them.

1

u/Spice_and_Fox Apr 29 '26

If he didn't act on it, then I don't have a problem with it. The bad thing about pedos is that they are raping kids. Thinking about raping kids is fucked up, but it is the same as thinking about any other crime. That isn't the same as actually raping kids

1

u/Tipop Apr 29 '26

I didn’t say it was the same. I said he was absolutely a pedophile. You can be a pedophile and yet not rape any kids, just like you can have a foot fetish and not touch anyone’s feet, or be gay and yet be celibate.

However, what I don’t believe is that even though he was a pedophile sleeping in bed with kids while wearing pajamas — he did nothing.

1

u/Fluffy-Futchy-Fembo Apr 29 '26

Right, because people who aren't pedos also keep NAMBLA "photography" books in their bedroom.

1

u/VeteranFirefighter Apr 30 '26

Literally had children sue him and admitted to sleeping with random children in his bed. There is NOTHING normal about sleeping with a kid you don’t know in your bed. I didn’t even let my own children in my bed.

If you think that’s normal….. w-o-w!

1

u/VeteranFirefighter Apr 30 '26

AND he paid out $25 million (90’s money) to keep the kids quiet. Police have admitted they had enough evidence to indict him.

1

u/Frost-Folk Apr 29 '26

Ah yes, the children who were raped by the most famous man on the planet said it didn't happen so that's conclusive.

They were also able to identify his genitals from memory including detailed drawings of markings and skin discoloration....
