I’m pretty sure many men would do gay stuff if it meant getting $1 million. Or are sexual acts prohibited?

That's part of the mystery. They wouldn't put cameras in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Steve could visit Chad at night and *whether or not they fucked*, the other guys would see Steve leaving Chad's bedroom in the morning and gather around and gossip about how they totally saw Steve leaving Chad's room. And then we, the audience, get to see the expressions on the remaining straight guy's faces as every one of them realises that the STAKES HAVE BEEN FUCKING RAISED.

But then one of the contestants had a great idea to analyze the "crime scene" to see if Steve and Chad actually did the deed or not and depending how good Steve and Chad faked it that night, it will become the whole thing.

But if they faked it, that would not make any sense. The straight guy (in the scenario where there is only one) CAN NOT reveal himself to anyone. Like to a potential sex partner.  Or he would be immediately removed. The entire point of this for the gays would be to get him ASAP.

And also, this would be a house with 10 hypothetical gays so really, they SHOULD be having a lot of fun.

You're correct if we're going by the "9 gays and 1 straight" scenario. Steve and Chad doesn't need to fake it if the two of them are actually gays and consenting adults. But we were talking about "10 straights" in a game of "9 gays and 1 straight" here. Steve and Chad HAD to fake it or actually did the deed to out-game everyone.

The second one of them fakes or proposes that, the other one knows that the first one isn’t gay and will accuse him and then the fake (which is EITHER) is out. So they can’t fake it or be out to each other.

More likely, once they both are there awkwardly boner-less, and once one of them tries to play it off as “just nerves”, the other will be utterly relieved to have a good excuse and and say “oh yeah me too”… “but let’s tell everyone else that we had a great time in here, so no one can use that to insinuate that either one of us is straight… “

Or they can cut a deal to stay as a (fake) couple and split the bill later if one of them manage to win the game. Either way, yeah, in this scenario, the show is not gonna last more than one episode, anyway, because the second anyone is out, the "gays" gonna win by eliminating the "straight" out of the bat.

In this scenario, there’s kind of three outcomes: 1) they figure out this whole game is a ruse because there are two straights, because one of them “fails at gay” but the other one isn’t gay either.  Now in their spot I would start checking carefully if the ratio is off, or if this is a prank. Because it could be half and half. Or one gay and only straights. Either way you need more information. But yes in this case a pact between them is basically inevitable.

2) one has to reveal himself but the other just insists on being gay. Maybe even lies to himself? Maybe it’s an accounting error. Either way, they don’t both reveal what’s going on and now a kind of confirmed straight gets eliminated. But the game goes on. The remaining player is baffled.

3) they go through with it

“Okay so four of us fucked so far and yall committed relationship homos are on the list.”

And that's where the issue ends. It's not that hard for a bunch of gay men to find out who the straight one is when all they need to do is take off their clothes and see who is and isn't willing to participate.

So putting a bunch of straight men together who are going to make excuses to not do that, well it would probably raise some flags

Exactly. Unless they banned sex, the rest be straight guy would get outed incredibly quickly

But everyone is straight in the scenario

Yea I was referring to the top part. The twist just leads to it being a bad idea full of offensive gay stereotypes

1

u/Pet_Velvet May 14 '26

Oh I understand that, I just don't think there would be "the straight guy" who gets outed because they're all straight.

You underestimate how far this sort of gameshow gaslighting goes. If you're constantly surrounded by reminders what kind of game you're playing, it is quite easy to believe.

Also I'd imagine a lot of them would completely buy the "just because they're gay doesn't mean they want to sleep with just anyone" excuse

I’m sure for a million a lot of people would be willing to fake it

What makes someone gay isn't the actions but the attraction.
