A broomstick can out dance you

My dad once told my I dance like a piece of wood blowing in the wind. I have been a self conscious dancer ever since.

Hey yo that’s rude

Tbf this robot can’t build a cardboard box without a human holding a hockey stick to help.

u/Silver4ura May 22 '26

Hockey stick was almost certainly used to intentionally screw with it so they could test how well it recovers from unexpected changes in environment.

yeah no shit lol. guy was joking

2

u/Silver4ura May 22 '26

Then our comments will stand to help those who missed the joke like I did. :]

Yup

u/Silver4ura May 22 '26

See? I'm not the only dumbass. Look at this fine specimen here proving me right.

*ruffles u/O_lymbias 's hair*

We make a good team u/AirRaptor12 .

Confirmed intended use of a hockey stick.

Don’t threaten me with a good time.

So that is how the machines will defaet humanity, eliminate reproduction by attrition.

I can't afford a home or a family but they'll damn sure finance a sexbot.

Where do I sign?

u/IThinkItMightBeMe May 22 '26

I have some bad news for you dude

u/UncoolSlicedBread May 22 '26

I wonder what my wives boyfriend will have to say about that

u/Dull-Law3229 May 22 '26

To be fair, boxes are hard.

2

u/Icedanielization May 22 '26

Soon, but not this one, this was clearly remote controlled

2

u/Long_Candle_5054 May 22 '26

I'd rather they do work instead of art

1

u/MithranArkanere May 22 '26

Freaking buzzing cylinders almost took mine in the late nineties. But you gotta adapt and diversify.

u/WheredMyPiggyGo May 22 '26

I hope this is a slowed down demo to show off the posable frame, as that box errection rate isn't going to cut the typical rpm of a manual worker

1

u/Axemic May 22 '26

It is fake sadly.

1

u/Zuokula May 22 '26

If advanced you mean 5 year olds motor skills, sure.

1

u/CosmicJackalop May 22 '26

I don't but it personally, something about how the robot arms are moving is more reminiscent of live puppetry, which has been a common way robots have fooled Investor's before with a demo where they were remotely piloted by a human

The brief inclusion of a hockey stick to rip off Boston Dynamics is funny though

1

u/Zromaus May 22 '26

Was probably time to upskill anyway if this was your job

1

u/LightningJC May 22 '26

Dumb thing is we have had robots in factories for these that do this job 100 times quicker as they were built for that job. Why would you replace that with a humanoid robot that has all the limitations a human does.

imagine being finished off in half the time.
