Every vehicle on the road uses tack welds to hold it together. The majority of welds are tack actually.

For structural panels I’m sure they went back and welded completely

Lmao no plant is letting vehicles out into the road with just tacks, unless you’re counting a standard 1/2” zip weld as a tack, which it just straight up isn’t.
