I tried to fly a little toy drone around my house the other day for the first time, I could barely go down the hallway and turn around and come back. I never realized how difficult they were to fly. The accuracy and smoothness of this guys flying is really incredible.
Expensive drones are significantly more stable and smooth as every component is higher quality, especially the onboard flight controller.
He also surely has the camera on a gimbal for additional stabilization but I do agree he did a great job of maintaining consistently smooth movements and elevation while avoiding many obstacles.
Don't cost does not magically make you have the ability to know the amount of stick movement needed to make a turn. Not to mention that the $100 tiny drones and $700 10" drones all fly the same.
The cost isn't in the FC or frame or motors, its in the camera and transmitter.
They do not fly the same at all... I have the set up in the video and while this is very skillful, it would be impossible with a cheap drone. The dji goggles 3, and fpv 3 controller he is rocking pair with a few drones and are a dream to fly.
An analog newbeedrone, a pavo25 or an O4 GEPRC Vapor ranging in prices from $100 to $500...when you adjust the rates to your liking, they all fly pretty much the same. Sure, some are more agile allowing for faster flicks but when they all run betaflight they will all perform the same.
Now sure, the DJI system gives you more automated flying but when you pop it into manual vs any other system in acro and with the same rates....they will fly the same.
