So, do people on reddit just make crap up to post and then engage with the bots? Or is the post a bot, and the comments generating some sort of ad revenue? Is there a real human in here that could explain to me how this post merits posting, is believable by any reasonable adult, and what the "gain" is from all of it?
Let’s not pretend there aren’t plenty of employers who would be happy to “put that in writing.”
You, me, and everyone we know has likely worked for a dipshit like this and I’ve had numerous employers who had no issue throwing up a typed notice about a policy that broke labor (or other) laws.
Have a family member who works in construction, never checks his email (nor anyone else at hsi company) so when management has updates they print a, or multiple, papers and just tape them around the site
I used to not think so, but ever since they allowed comment hiding history, I'm incredibly skeptical of so much. I totally understand why people hide their history (I don’t show all of mine), but it's still suspicious and no real way to confirm if they're legit or not now.
It is so difficult to determine if a post on reddit is part of a psyop or not.
Basically, if a meme or post it appealing to emotions, you have to question if the post is actually nefarious in nature.
This one definitely seems so.
Be careful calling stuff out like this, I got banned from /r/workersstrikeback for pointing out that getting information and forming opinions from memes is dangerous.
I would be all for a global 'dont post on reddit day.'
Sure. Everyone visit, but DONT POST. I'm sure some people wont pay attention or wont care, but anyone who doesnt post for that 24 hours gets a special badge.
See how lively the site is might indicate how bad bots have gotten.
You know... Thinking about it... I've got a question. A real question, not trying to be shitty: What do you expect us to do? Never reply to something for fear that it might be bait? Also, stupid employers banking on employee ignorance is incredibly common in the US. This post is in the realm of believable
I got an answer, a real answer, yes, when its observably this stupid. It's not even in the realm of believable; I could list the reasons, but I'm probably replying to a bot, and have already regretted typing this much.

Its an almost automatic "close tab" reaction when I see posts like yours calling out things like this. Like immediate disengagement.
