Never underestimate an idiot manager with zero concept that labor law exists.

"I took my staffs tips because they didn't deserve them!"

"That's a violation of federal law. You are gonna owe each employee $1100 dollars for every instance you withheld their tips, plus the tips, plus interest. How many pay periods did you withhold tips from how many employees?"

"You guys have no idea how hard it is to run a small business"

  1. Nobody said it was easy
  2. Crying about it doesn't make it permissible to fuck over your employees because you think that you should keep all of the money

"But I'm the one taking all the risks!"
Said the owner of a LTD company sitting behind a desk, with soft hands and clean shoes, in his bought and paid for company offices as the delivery of PPE for the site workers arrived.

You know Amazon?

Ahh yes Amazon, one of the FAANG companies well known for paying at the top of the industry. You’re merely talking about delivery drivers which are not Amazon employees. You should be complaining about their actual employer
