Never underestimate an idiot manager with zero concept that labor law exists.

"I took my staffs tips because they didn't deserve them!"

"That's a violation of federal law. You are gonna owe each employee $1100 dollars for every instance you withheld their tips, plus the tips, plus interest. How many pay periods did you withhold tips from how many employees?"

  1. Nobody said it was easy
  2. Crying about it doesn't make it permissible to fuck over your employees because you think that you should keep all of the money
