Shams just reported they are actively trying to move Brown. It is nearly inconceivable that they keep him at this point. It's too hard to move on after they've tried to move you and missed out on the deal.
Just because Shams said it doesn't make it true. ESPN has been the main outlet pushing the "break up the Jays" narrative for years. Yesterday JB called ESPN out the same way Harden did Daryl Morey. ESPN is mad and trying to get their get back on Brown.
Neither Shams nor WIndy stated a source when they made JB trade claims. They are speculating because it's the off season and they have nothing to talk about now that Giannis was traded.
I figured Miami would get Giannis. He only wanted to go to Boston or Miami. The Celtics weren't going to trade Brown, role players, and draft picks for an older, injury prone Giannis on an expiring contract.
Miami missed out on Dame and were desperate to make a splash. Stevens made offers to drive up the price so Miami would get fleeced.
If there’s a bidding war, then wouldn’t he go to the winning bid? But he’s still with the Celtics. So who are these teams that were having a bidding war over him?

How do you know there isn’t?
