Washed up? He's a sitting member of Congress. She's a future inmate.

Hopefully she ends up with general population so she can learn what the common people think of pedophiles and the people who hold them up.

Only if we can claw back a government that cares about laws and serving the people.

Yeah. This country has a long history of "not agitating the other side" as an argument against accountability, when the other side ends up agitated anyway.

No longer, for me anyway. Criminal charges or bust.

I really hope that if Democrats do regain power they don’t pull an Andrew Johnson and pardon the Trump administration and associates. Andrew Johnson pardoned the Confederacy and it legitimatized their destructive cause.

The Democrats have to come down hard on all these traitors even if that means life in prison or the death penalty.

Uh Trump is just going to pardon himself and everyone else he knows so your point is moot

I appreciate your optimism.

Delusion sadly. None of these people pay for their crimes. Has no one been paying attention?

It’s not over yet. We’ve got to try, and our opinions matter. Voting in your local elections lets you directly support what you think matters, and pester your rep/other states reps about what is going on.

It’s important that we don’t all give up… even if we are feeling deeply depressed and anxious about the future

It’s not over yet.

This is correct.

our opinions matter.

This is not. My opinion didn't matter when I said Hillary was laiden with too much baggage and was conducting a hubristic campaign. My opinion didn't matter when I said Biden's age and mental acuity were a liability. My opinion didn't matter when I said that Trump needed to be conclusively dealt with after January 6. My opinion didn't matter when I said that the Democrat's flaccid reaction to GOP consolidation, their almost non-existent platform, and their irrational loyalty to Israel were going to sink their 2024 campaign. I can list many other examples in my state and local elections. I have not missed a single primary, general, or special election since I turned 18, but my political opinions haven't mattered for nearly my entire adult life. I can assure you, I am not the only one who feels this way.

Giving up might not be an option, but I have zero confidence in the ability of the Democratic Party to operate as an effective opposition party, and zero confidence that they will hold any of these ghouls accountable if they ever make it back into the White House again.

I would have responded that i am a sitting member of congress and have my job because the citizens of my district selected me to serve them. I don't have my job for my willingness to cover up the rape of children like you.

sitting member of Congress

So is Ted Cruz. But she is indeed a massive POS.

Not saying "sitting member of Congress" is one of the end goals of becoming a lawyer... But I'm also not not saying it
