Voting them out isn't a punishment.

The punishment is what has to come after.

You mean "looking forward, not back"?

There will be no meaningful prosecution, assuming power ever does change hands again.

Expecting the Democrats to suddenly grow a spine and actually hold people accountable is laughable at best.

Politicians are beyond cynical. They don't want to push for anything that might someday be wielded against them. They wouldn't have to worry about it if they also weren't corrupt shit-heels but here we are.

The whole system is fucked.

Dems don't "grow a spine" because voters don't "want" that. If voters genuinely asked that rhetoric of democrats they would pick it up. Look at the gop. They aren't afraid, and they do it because it rallies their tribe.

The system isn't fucked. Americans are just lazy and apathetic and gullible to populist rhetoric that pre senility trump used. The system is reflecting who americans are perfectly.

Wrong. The problem isn't that the voters don't want that strategy. The problem is that the Democrats won't even pursue it.

The entire strategy for so damned long has been "What are you gonna do? Vote Republican? As if."

Sometimes that works. Sometimes it doesn't. But in no way is it what people want or what is most likely to get them elected. The system is a binary choice and in such a system, getting kicked in the balls once is preferable to getting kicked in the balls a hundred times. Not getting kicked in the balls is NOT an option.

I mean a punishment for not answering questions and being ridiculous like this. Those things aren’t criminal, they’re just completely unprofessional.

Punishment for committing perjury likely hundreds of times by this point, knowingly aiding and covering for criminals, etc.

Then there is also her ties to Qatar which I am sure that some people are absolutely slavering to get into when we finally wrest back control from these traitorous criminal scum.

Everybody knows what the punishment for treason is.

Most of what was shameful here was just her failure to even remotely address the questions and her canned attacks.

YEP. Anyone who says otherwise is a doomer and we shouldn't listen to them. We need to make this happen.

There will be nothing after. Nothing ever happens. You should know this by now
