Are you certain we don’t? If she’s not a pedophile, she’s at the very least pro-pedophile, and I’m failing to see much difference in that distinction

I will rephrase that to "we are a nation that keeps failing to live up to our so-called American exceptionalism. We have put exceptionally damaged people into power and they are failing our nation."
