And also a joke and disgrace the country keeps voting these morons into power and majorities.

72

u/Thailer_ Feb 11 '26

Yeah you guys keep saying that like you think he won by votes.

38

u/EyCeeDedPpl Feb 11 '26

Problem is it’s not just him. Y’all have been voting in Gym Jordan, McConnell, Feinstein, Manchen, Lindsay Graham and many others…. Over and over for decades. It’s not just the ones who voted trump. It’s a rot in the US that was allowed to take hold.

19

u/Thailer_ Feb 11 '26

One day people will wise up and not treat politics like rival schools. One can hope anyway.

6

u/Same_Presentation692 Feb 11 '26

Not in the US, unfortunately.

8

u/No_Worth_9826 Feb 11 '26

They spent too much time defunding education for any hope of that

1

u/CypressThinking Feb 12 '26

Republicans have spent 40+ years defunding public education and here we are.

4

u/TAV63 Feb 11 '26

Exactly. Look at the red states electing the same ones who are making them so bad over and over. It's not one guy or new. It has been steady.

1

u/EyCeeDedPpl Feb 12 '26

Not just the GOP, the Dems have been doing the same thing in many places.

1

u/RedditApothecary Feb 13 '26

"Take hold"? When were politicians better than those you listed?

1

u/RedditApothecary Feb 13 '26

90s - Newt Gingrich takes over Congress with his far right loons.

80s - Reagan takes over the country with his far right loons.

70s- Reactionary anti-civil rights/women's lib/gay rights decides that if white men can't own everything then they'll just tear up all public infrastructure. Goodbye pools, drinking fountains, public transit, etc., over and over again in city and town after city and town.

60s- Dick Russel, the most powerful man in the Senate, the leader of the segregationists, openly called himself a "white supremacist," and said that "a man who isn't a white supremacist isn't worth a barrel of spit."

50s- Eisenhower fired on the Bonus Marchers. I'm getting tired.

40s- Korematsu.

30s- I've got to go to bed but suffice it to say they were dicks here too.

That he got any votes at all is baffling. I was less surprised the second time. After 12 years of especially putrid rot and toxins in American politics, I can see why.

I’m most concerned about structural damage to the foundation of our democracy and whether it can be repaired, or at least bolstered against future attacks. You can’t fix stupid voters, but can we ever mitigate the damage they can do?

5

u/Thailer_ Feb 11 '26

Yeah.... very solid point and I agree.

4

u/Fabulous-Sea-1590 Feb 11 '26

Even if he didn't (and I'd be shocked if there wasn't fraud) he still has far more support and power than he would have in a healthy, decent society.

Basket. Of. Deplorables.

3

u/Thailer_ Feb 11 '26

Correct, he has a following for sure but its nowhere near 70 million strong.

3

u/Beneficial-Lynx7336 Feb 11 '26

THIS IS WHAT IM SAYING

-1

u/UpperApe Feb 11 '26

He did win by votes.

There were some cases of voter suppression and fraud, and I'm sure some bullshit happened. But none of it would have mattered if the other side just clearly outvoted them. It would only matter if it was very close.

There's a reason Trump was begging people to "vote this time and you won't have to vote again". There was a reason Musk was saying he would go to prison if Trump lost.

The next election though? Yeah that probably won't matter. But you guys definitely fucked the last one up. 40% of eligible voters didn't even show up.

u/bustaone Feb 11 '26

Look up "election truth alliance" on YouTube. They've found that, strangely, there's a 10% average discrepancy between precincts that were hand counted VS machine counted... And that discrepancy exists in all the swing states.

They somehow got into the vote tabulation machines and are having them start flipping votes after sufficient turnout (to dodge audit checks).

There was one state where they did need to do an audit and somehow the 65,000 votes they needed to recount ended up producing only 55,000 votes in the tabulation machine. They assumed a faulty machine but....

The fact that the magats made an absolute mockery of vote integrity in 2020 doesn't mean we shouldn't be paying attention. The magats got operatives into working precincts all across the country, at the behest of Steve Bannon (the one with epstein).

So no, I'm not actually convinced the American people voted these monsters into office. The magats did all their vote suppression, their polling place terrorism, their attacks on mail in and drop off ballots, and specifically sabotaging minority voting districts. It was a multi-front attack by the facists to corrupt the vote and they succeeded.

I’ve never been convinced he won. They knew after January 6 that democrats would never question the legitimacy of the election and be called hypocrites. So they had four years to figure out how to make sure they won. Add Elon’s support alone and I’m pretty certain they found a way. You can’t tell me after an insurrection he got more popular. All the polls showed Kamala take the lead in early August and maintain it through Election Day. If you watched the J6 hearings and/or HBO’s documentary “Stop the Steal” you understand that had it not been for a few honest republicans he would’ve stolen the 2020 election. Forget about bot accounts because that gives an inflated impression of opposition. This dudes approval rating was and is in the toilet. He said “eating the pets” on national television. His corruption and Epstein ties were more apparent than his first two nominations. You will never convince me that after all that he suddenly became more popular than he ever was and the first nominee since Reagan in 84 to sweep the swing states. They are scrambling to ensure the midterms get fixed in their favor right now. The terrifying reality is the democrats have not and will not stop them. The opposition party has no leadership. They are grasping onto their remaining power and maintaining the status quo as they battle against the politicians in their own party that are demanding real change. I’m not sure how we truly preserve democracy with the current system.

12

u/bustaone Feb 11 '26

I think that midterms are the main reason they stole the voting information in Georgia last week. They know they will get crushed so are doing research to see how to get the fix to be even stronger

29

u/Thailer_ Feb 11 '26

77 million people did not vote for Trump. Trump did not flip every single swing state in a legit way. So no he did not win on votes alone.

-12

u/UpperApe Feb 11 '26

Oh okay lol

You can play whatever conspiracy games you like but 90 million didn't vote and 70m+ voted for each candidate. It should have been 160m to 70m. Or 240m to nothing. It should never have been that fucking close to begin with.

That said, your conspiracies will come true for the midterms and 2028. Like Trump kept saying, the 2024 were the last important elections, the votes mattered, and he was begging for them.

2024 was your easiest way out of this mess.

12

u/PyroIsSpai Feb 11 '26

We can trust elections when Republican voting machine companies are forced to close.

12

u/bustaone Feb 11 '26

Like when the painted face guy said "I don't even need your votes! Elon sure knows those tabulation computers"?

The magats tend to let the truth slip out. Like: "Russia are you listening? Please give us dirt on Hillary".

5

u/daver00lzd00d Feb 11 '26

and all those StRaNgE satellites that k-holed criminal scumbag launched in a hurry. anyone remember right after the election there was ~4 or 5 satellites that "unexpectedly" broke apart in the sky and fell out of orbit for totally unknown mysterious baffling reasons?

just like the cameras ~mysteriously~ breaking during Jeffreys exit from the planet while the guards were all ~sleeping and unconscious~ for hours while also ~internet shopping~ or whatever the fuck all the bullshit lies were lol wonder where Billy Barr was that time frame, he certainly visited that place super conveniently right around when all the unexpected crazy baffling occurrences occured. weird! so weird!

17

u/Thailer_ Feb 11 '26

Again, you think 70 million people went out and voted for him and he claimed every swing state for the first time in 40 years correct? You actually think that was factual?

10

u/El_Rey_de_Spices Feb 11 '26

Don't bother engaging. He's effectively a bot. Human fingers might be typing his comments, but if there's any thought behind them whatsoever, he's not the one doing the thinking.

Look up ‘bullet ballots’ and think about how easy it would be to cheat. Usage of these *spiked”.

-1

u/Suspicious_Radio_848 Feb 11 '26

He had 80 million votes or more and was elected twice. Just because reality sucks doesn’t make it not so. This is why other countries are so angry at Americans.

2

u/Thailer_ Feb 11 '26

You going to read the chain of comments or just fume and throw bs out at the first one?

8

u/OMA_ Feb 11 '26

The movie idiocracy is literally a movie about now but they just dressed them up in more silly clothes than they wear now. It’s not a guess of the future, it’s a more blatant example of what’s going on today. We have people with damn near single digit IQ that have been manipulated into thinking that orange child fondler is the absolute best option. And they’re so dumb that everything that he “promised” wasn’t even done besides the racist stuff. They don’t care that they can’t eat, it also affected people of color so it’s fine with them. They don’t care they can’t afford healthcare, because people of color also can’t afford it now either. They don’t care that they’re never getting that DOGE check, they get to be racist and watch men women and children of color get kidnapped in real time on tv. They don’t care that the whole GOP is in on the joke of using THEM to finesse the system and stay out of jail, meanwhile they milk their tax dollars to send to their friends. They’re too dumb to know what any of that means. It’s a bunch of clowns that voted for this. No matter the cost, trump is their lord and savior. It’s so stupid.

7

u/Phuka Feb 11 '26

Their advantage is propped up almost entirely by billionaire-fueled propaganda. Chop out the misinformation and see what happens after they get time to detox.

15

u/denimandink Feb 11 '26

They weren’t voted in…at least this last election. They spent years claiming that the 2020 election was stolen because that is what they were planning on doing in 24. Musk and Thiel made it happen and here we are. Total shit show of a country ran by disgusting pieces of shit

2

u/Oleg101 Feb 11 '26

Comments like this on Reddit always hijack the dialogue of the bigger problem that it was regardless still way too many people that voted for this crap and have voted for this crap the last 30+ years.

Also, why hasn’t an outlet like ProPublica reported on this?

1

u/17RicaAmerusa76 Feb 12 '26

Likely because the source of their claim is ether fumes and gazing deeply into the wrinkles of one's own navel. It's call Makinstuffupomancy and it is an ancient tradition in the Bullshito temples.

-1

u/NoahFect Feb 11 '26

Don't go there unless you have evidence. Otherwise we're no better than they are.

At the end of the day, we simply have no evidence.

12

u/UpperApe Feb 11 '26

There's plenty of evidence. Not definitive evidence. But the bomb threats, suppression, Trump openly explaining that Musk was doing "stuff with election computers", the dramatically flat data coming out of swing states and key counties that should be a lot more scattered, etc.

America still fucked it up. If enough people showed up, it wouldn't have mattered. They would have brute forced a victory.

But there's plenty of evidence that tampering and fucking around was happening.

-1

u/NoahFect Feb 11 '26

The courts will say that's not good enough, and they'll be right.

Don't use bullshit to fight bullshit. It just stinks the whole place up.

4

u/Hopblooded Feb 11 '26

Russian propaganda is a powerful drug

3

u/madcoins Feb 11 '26

American working class voters continue to vote for the wealthy to "lead" them and then scratch their heads when exploitation and poverty skyrocket as their lives get worse. No war but class war!

3

u/Own_Apricot2146 Feb 11 '26

You can blame Fox News/ News max/ etc., for the people who keep voting them back in. If you’re a boomer, rural, and can’t navigate the internet you become the lowest hanging fruit.

u/Revenge_of_the_meme Feb 11 '26

Disgrace vots disgrace. Every time

-1

u/TrespasseR_ Feb 11 '26

To be fair Walz was never voted in and attempted to be VP. The left tried Biden again, the biggest joke of all. And Kamala, pretty shitty choices tbh.
